  1. Before coming to The Balance, what expectations did you have in advance, and were they fulfilled afterward?

    My primary goal during the detox phase was to navigate it as smoothly and peacefully as I could. Little did I anticipate finding myself in such a nurturing and luxurious environment, complete with a range of complementary treatments. To my surprise, the talking therapy sessions proved to be incredibly beneficial. Additionally, I had not anticipated having a personal manager living with me in the house, but this turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me. Throughout the detox process, their constant presence and support were invaluable.

    The mental and talking treatments have truly exceeded my expectations. The seamless integration of these therapies was a remarkable combination. Moreover, the complementary treatments served as the ideal complement to both the detox process and the talking therapy sessions. It was through these holistic approaches that I regained a profound connection with my body and found the ability to open up during my psychological sessions.
  3. How did you feel about your accommodation and hospitality? Villa? Food? Service? Activities? Personal Manager?

    Accommodation: The house was truly spectacular. Its location played a significant role in supporting my program and healing process. I relished the serenity of my room and the overall tranquility of the surroundings. The housekeepers provided exceptional service.

    Comments: While my experience was excellent, I would have appreciated the addition of a hammock in the garden.

    Food: I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

    Personal Manager: I was extremely satisfied with my personal manager. He struck the perfect balance between giving me space when needed and being readily available when I required assistance.

    Trust the process.
  5. How do you feel today after the program? Do you perceive changes? If so, which ones?

    I feel incredibly well now, following the completion of my program. My mental clarity has vastly improved, I‘m more present in the moment, and my anxiety has significantly diminished. I‘ve also experienced a profound increase in energy levels, which has translated into a better mood and
    increased happiness. I am profoundly grateful for these positive changes.

    I expected physical well-being improvement, mental clarity, more rootedness, and higher, more focused energy. And yes, I achieved all that with the support and guidance of the team at the Balance, and much sooner than I anticipated.

    Very comfortable, accepted, understood, embraced, encouraged and elevated. Clinically, the team is extremely professional, well versed in their respective fields, holistic in their approach, and very attentive to detail, exhibiting a strong understanding of what it takes to make the changes necessary to live a fuller and healthier life. They are effective in their approach and communication, well organized, flexible, and accommodating to personalized needs; igniting a sense of belonging and family… with a common goal of getting you to where you deserve to be: healthier, better, happier.

    It was excellent. The accommodation is clean, spacious, well laid out, calming in energy and design, and has everything you need to attend to the goals you set with your team. If something was not available, every effort was made to make it available. The food was spectacularly curated based on the nutritionist’s recommendations and my personal preferences. Fresh, wholesome, healthy, and delicious. Service was outstanding and seamless. Activity options were quite diverse in their range of engagement and effort. My personal manager was warm, caring, on top of everything regarding the schedule and preferences, and very quick to work with the larger team in accommodating changing needs. Truly a very personalized and holistic approach that is very attentive to every need you may have.
  4. What kind of advice would you give to a future customer?

    If there is something you are not sure about, ask. The team at The Balance will always work to understand your needs and see how best to accommodate them, within what serves your plan and goals. Be open, share, and get to know everyone, including those who are not on your clinical or recovery team. Everyone has a unique story, and you would be surprised how connecting on a deeply human and real level can assist in this process.
  5. How do you feel today after the program? Do you perceive changes? If so, which ones?

    I feel great. So many positive changes came from the program that I managed to take with me back home. Better eating, sleeping, working, and physical training habits; stronger tools to deal with situations that may arise; a rootedness and strength that is coupled with flow and flexibility, lightheartedness and motivation; a sense of being back in my own skin and my own element; connected.

  1. Before coming to The Balance, what expectations did you had in advance and were they fulfilled afterwards?

    After my crisis, I wanted to go to another clinic in Zurich I decided then to come to Mallorca because I own a house there and I had an excuse to tell my friends that I would go for treating my knee.

    Because of the Admission team and of the concept “MIND BODY AND SOUL”, I was convinced to come to The Balance. I had no expectations at first, I just knew I needed to change something in my life. Meeting Dr. Sarah Boss on the first day gave me a good feeling and as a result of all I was more than satisfied.
  1. How did you feel about working with the team? The clinical, physical, and mental team?

    Very important for me were: Gita | Enrique | Sarah Boss
    Based on these three I understood the concept of the Balance and how each of the team members play a very important role in providing the whole package. I would describe The Balance’s teamwork as a circle working all together hand in hand into to inside of the circle.

    Food: Excellent | The chef made my day in so many moments when I felt low.

    Accommodation: Was always clean and very peaceful and helpful for my healing.

    Activities: I loved the freedom in between the treatments (didn’t need to plan much more).

    Before arriving at the Balance I was just hoping that they were the right people to help me with my goal of getting off cocaine for good. I spoke to a former client and he already told me a lot about the program. My expectations were fulfilled and I would always recommend it to anyone in need

    I really enjoyed the work with the team, the yoga and meditation especially. I felt, the communication between the team members was good and they were very professional in their work.

    Villa: the setting and surrounding was great, perfect for escaping the real world and enough space to heal

    Food: The chef is excellent, at first it was all a bit too gourmet and rich, after telling him this, he adapted to my personal wishes.

    Personal Manager: I really liked my personal manager, he is great and was a good support during my stay.
  4. What kind of advice would you give to a future customer?

    Be sure, you discuss all options with the program and Aftercare before coming. For me personally, it was a bit distracting to discuss the Aftercare during my stay.

    I had no expectations and didn’t know what was waiting for me at The Balance. It did not feel like a normal drug detox as he was feeling very safe and protected.

    Everything was perfect and I loved working with each individual. I felt really welcomed and safe.

    Food: Excellent

    Accommodation: I was feeling very safe and happy in my villa.

    Activities: I had so much fun in between the treatments. We went to the caves, played tennis and went to the beach.

    Personal Manager: Couldn´t have been happier with the personal manager chosen for me.

    “ Be open for anything that comes up during this program”

    I feel much fitter and clearer and have energies I wasn´t sure I even had.

    I found new activities I really enjoyed and I am now much happier to wake up.

    Villa: Beautiful! The surroundings were just amazing and I miss it a lot.
    Food: Was very good and super healthy, after the program it was hard for me to find a balance of healthy food and regular food as the chefs in Balance only cooked the healthiest menus.
    Activities: Love them / going to the beach / horses were my favorite.
    Personal Manager: My personal manager was amazing.

    “To go in with full commitment. You will get out stronger.”
    “The program can’t fix everything, but you open a box to many areas of your life. Be prepared to be brave enough.”

    Yes, I do feel much different today. Before The Balance I was just existing, and hopping from one drug to another. Now I am still fighting my demons but I have a more confident way of living. It´s so powerful to just be.

    My expectation was getting off the sleeping pills. During the program it went all great; right after the program I went to France where the side effects of not being able to sleep started again but when I arrived back home it went away and I could use The Balance techniques which was very helpful. I am now completely off the sleeping pills and do sleep without any substance
